Updates From the Board
Member Dinner Event at Tuscany:
A club-wide dinner event for adults is scheduled for Sunday,
May 20th at 5:30p.m. We will be dining at Tuscany,
550 S. Milwaukee Ave.,
in Wheeling.
The menu includes Salad, Chicken Breast Piccata, Pennine Pomodoro Pasta,
Grilled Vegetables, Roasted Potatoes, and for dessert a choice of Tiramisu
or Torta di Frutta. The cost to members is $10 per person. Separate
invitations will be emailed/mailed out. To reserve
your spot, please respond to this email, or to
Melissa Koren at 480-0566. Please mail check to

NCC Board Nominating Committee
A nominating committee has been formed to make nominations for
next year's Board. The members of the committee are: Nancy Graham, Melissa Koren, and Julie Koslow.
NCC Board—NEW BOARD MEMBERS NEEDED
We have 4-5 board positions open for next year. We need your
help. If you participate in club activities and have never served on the
board, please consider making this the year that you choose to volunteer.
The club cannot survive without the help of its members. The time
involvement is minimal. There are quarterly meetings, arranged at a
convenient time for all of the Board Members. Serving on the Board is a
great way to be involved in your club and to make decisions on event
planning, and on how the club's money will be spent. If you have ever
considered serving on the board, please call Melissa 480-0566, Nancy
205-5615, or Julie 291-7454.

Our Book Club selection is The Doctor's Daughter by Hilma Wolitzer.
Note -- If you are having trouble finding a copy of the book,
please be aware that you can request books from the Northbrook Library by
calling the library (847-272-6224) and asking for the Reader Services desk.
They will get the book from within a large network of libraries and will
call you when the book becomes available. Books usually become available
within a week.

Bunco
